Harris Campaign Site Lists Policy Page Seven Weeks After Entering Race

The Kamala Harris/Tim Walz campaign website published its policy pages seven weeks after the Democratic candidates entered the 2024 race.

The Kamala Harris campaign has been criticized in recent days for focusing on tone and rhetoric while being light on policies. Just seven weeks after Harris entered the race as Biden withdrew, her campaign website finally listed Policy Page.

People took notice of it online.

The most striking part of the policy is the comparison and contrast between Kamala's position and that of Project 2025, which Democrats have been trying to foist on former President Donald Trump for weeks. The line about “ensuring safety and justice for all” is particularly provocative.

“Donald Trump is a convicted felon who only thinks about himself. He has proven that time and time again, from caving to the gun lobby and doing nothing to address gun violence to tearing up bipartisan border security agreements that were supposed to protect our borders and keep America safe, all for his own political gain,” the section states.

“If elected president, Trump would implement his Project 2025 power-shaping plan, gain direct control of the Justice Department and FBI, give himself unlimited legal powers, hunt down his opponents, and rule as a dictator from 'day one,'” the article continues.

While her proposal mentions LGBTQ rights, particularly discrimination and housing, it says nothing about transgender issues, particularly gender transition for minors.

On Israel, the campaign says Kamala Harris will defend the Jewish state's right to exist and work to end the war in Gaza.

“Vice President Harris will always defend Israel's right to self-defense and will always ensure that Israel has the ability to defend itself. VP Harris and President Biden are working to end the war in Gaza so that Israel is safe, hostages are freed, the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom and self-determination,” the statement said.
