Vice President Kamala Harris defended the administration’s so-called “Biden Economics” at a time when costs to American families are rising dramatically.
Under the Biden-Harris administration, costs have risen by about 20 percent on average across the board, with Popeyes, Taco Bell and Chipotle, for example, raising prices by at least 75 percent, according to the Food Institute.
At least five times, Harris praised policies that contributed to higher costs.
Harris will have a hard time convincing voters that her administration is doing a good job on the economy, their No. 1 issue.
A CBS News poll conducted last month found that just 7 percent of voters consider the current administration’s policies to be “very good,” while 34 percent consider them “very bad” — a difference of 27 points.
A June poll from Monmouth University also found that 87% of Americans believe Biden’s policies have had either a negative impact or no impact on inflation.
