In her second interview since entering the presidential race on Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris disparaged her own record with the Biden-Harris administration, saying its policies are not “fit for the 21st century.”
Harris faces a conundrum: Campaigning on policies to improve crime, inflation and border security could undermine the policies of the Biden-Harris administration, but she must tout the administration's policies to make her own record and the legitimacy of her candidacy.
“Are there one or two policy areas or approaches that I can say make me different from other people? [than Joe Biden]”?” Tuff asked.
