Harris, Trump locked in tight race in Nevada: Poll

Vice President Harris and former President Trump are statistically tied in the battleground state of Nevada. Nevada State Opinion Poll (NVPOP) The announcement was made by Noble Predictive Insights (NPI) on Tuesday.

In head-to-head races in Nevada, Harris leads Trump by one point, 48% to 47% among likely voters, according to the poll, and in four-way races that also include Green Party candidate Jill Stein and Libertarian Party candidate Chase Oliver, Trump and Harris are split at 47% each.

Harris has a slight edge among registered voters: In two-way contests with Trump, she leads by three points, 48 ​​percent to 45 percent, and in four-way contests among registered voters, she leads by the same margin, 46 percent to 43 percent.

In all four matchups, the difference between the two candidates is within the margin of error.

The poll also asked voters about their preferences on the ballot for congressional elections and showed that the typical Democratic candidate had a four-point advantage over the Republican candidate among both eligible and registered voters.

NPI research director David Byler said the survey results signal good news for Democrats.

“After Joe Biden withdrew from the election, Harris quickly created a virtually tied Electoral College vote count. And in recent elections where the Electoral College votes were nearly tied, Nevada leaned ever so slightly Democratic. And that is exactly what we are seeing here,” Byler said in an NPI press release.

Nevada is one of seven battleground states that will determine the outcome of the November election. Harris leads Trump by 1.5 percentage points, 48.2% to 46.7%, according to The Hill/Decision Desk Nevada polling average. Nationally, Harris' lead over Trump has grown to 3.9 percentage points, 50.4% to 46.5%.

The poll was conducted September 9-16 among 812 registered voters in Nevada, including 692 who intend to vote, and has a margin of error of 3.44 percentage points among registered voters and 3.72 percentage points among intending voters.
