A child molester on the run has been arrested again after two Maine jurors caught the handcuffed attacker on video as he fled the Somerset County Courthouse, local reports said.
Nicholas Carter, 31, was found guilty of assaulting the 14-month-old baby after a three-day trial.
After being convicted, he allegedly fled from the courtroom on Wednesday after authorities did not allow him to be taken to prison.

The video shows a handcuffed, bald-headed man sprinting down a courthouse hallway, down the stairs to the lobby and out the door as two plainclothes officers chase him.
An outdoor camera showed him running outside, dragging police and other passersby with him, before stumbling and falling face-first across the road.
Two passersby attacked him.

It was not immediately clear whether they were involved in Carter's case or a different case.
Carter has yet to be sentenced on the assault charge and is expected to face new charges in connection with the escape attempt.
The cunning child abuser was out on bail before being sentenced; jail records show he was in jail by 2:18 p.m. on the day of his brief escape.
Sheriff's records list him as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing just 150 pounds.
His failed escape marks the second security breach at the courthouse this year, according to the Sentinel.

In April, a police officer in the courtroom used a Taser to stop a man in the gallery accusing a convicted killer of stabbing his sister 99 times.
He was escorted out of the courtroom but will not be charged, authorities said.
