Tayheem Menardi, 26, who police said molested four women last week, was arrested on Wednesday, days after he was arrested for bicycle robbery, but was quickly released because the charges were not eligible for bail. It was done.

The sensitive offender was charged with forcible touching and sexual abuse in the latest assault, which took place between March 24 and March 29, according to police and a complaint filed in Manhattan Criminal Court.
Menardi, who was riding a gray bicycle, allegedly approached the woman on Allen Street on the Lower East Side around noon on March 24 and grabbed her buttocks, according to the complaint.
Police say a creepy man allegedly approached a 34-year-old woman from behind and touched her private parts just before 10 a.m. on March 26 at Ninth Avenue and West 16th Street in Chelsea.
According to the complaint, the victim began recording the suspect as he took off.
Police said he targeted his next victim, a 52-year-old woman, at 10 a.m., grabbing her by the buttocks as she walked in the area of West 18th Street and 10th Avenue.
Then on March 29, around 3:30 p.m., on East 29th Street near Second Avenue in Kips Bay, he approached another woman on his Citi Bike and grabbed her buttocks, the complaint states. has been done.
Prosecutors said Menardi turned and looked at the woman before fleeing on his bicycle.
He was arrested the same day on suspicion of stealing a Citi Bike by force, leaving the rider with bruises, sores and sores, according to court documents.
It is unclear whether it is the same bicycle he allegedly used to molest the last victim.
However, the charges related to the Citi Bike theft (third-degree robbery, third-degree assault, and petty larceny) were not eligible for bail, and Menardi was granted supervised release.
He is scheduled to appear in court again in connection with the case on May 6, according to the Manhattan Attorney’s Office.
Menardi was previously arrested on Jan. 26 for allegedly grabbing a 31-year-old woman’s breasts at Irving Place in Gramercy Park, officials said.
And on May 5, 2020, he allegedly groped a 32-year-old woman’s buttocks at Fulton and Nassau streets, sources said.
Menardi was ordered held on $2,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail in connection with the recent molestation incident, prosecutors said.
He is scheduled to appear in court again next Tuesday.
