Hooters will return to NASCAR this weekend, with Hooters Girls expected at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the Cup Series championship. The brand is backing Cole Custer’s No. 41 Chevrolet.
The appearance comes as Hooters faces a difficult stretch, with several restaurants closing, including locations in Chicago and Atlanta. It will also be the brand’s first time sponsoring a car since its 2024 dispute with Hendrick Motorsports. The team sued Hooters for $1.705 million over a failed sponsorship deal; Hooters eventually paid $900,000.
For longtime fans, the NASCAR return offers a welcome bright spot. Whether it signals a broader revival for the restaurant chain remains to be seen.
