A House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing on Tuesday was scheduled to discuss billions of government waste identified by the Government's Office of Accountability (GAO), but one Democrat said the Government's Office of Efficiency He was first confused when he repeatedly mentioned the leader of Doge (Doge) as “President Musk” and as “Prime Minister Grifter” to President Donald Trump.
Chair James Comer R-KY. launched a hearing accusing Democrats of refusing to join the surveillance plan with Republicans.
“Instead of Democrats working together, they informed us that they have plans revisions but refused to discuss with me in advance. They kept the change. They want a secret. That's it,” Comer said in his remarks. “The Democrats have rejected any opportunities offered to contribute to the surveillance plan. So how are they supposed to incorporate secret opinions that they refuse to share? You say, “Why?” Will Democrats do that?” Democrats say they want to take part in surveillance, but if that is true, will they actually engage in that surveillance plan?
Kommer further said Democrats “want to hear President Trump talk about evil Elon Musk rather than helping with the actual surveillance that Americans are demanding.” Doge is doing it. ”

Ranking members Gerry Connolly, D-Va. criticised and shot back the Republican surveillance plan for what he deemed generosity towards the Trump administration.
“The crime of omission in this plan is terrible,” Connolly argued. “My revision would restore the proper role of the committee as a watchdog, not a rap dog.”
D-Fla. Tensions throughout the aisle escalated when Rep. Maxwell Frost addressed the committee.
“People like President Trump and President Musk's Grifter have been using public offices openly to fill billions of dollars songs,” Frost accused. “So, if you want to see the waste, fraud, abuse I'm trying to do, why is there a complete silence on the other side of the aisle about seeing the full glyfter, the president of the United States, why is there a complete silence on the other side of the aisle? Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La. , and objections that Comer called the point of order were raised. Frost argued that he could call Elon Musk President, and Connolly argued that the First Amendment was not suspended.
Comer asked Frost if he wanted to “revise” his remarks about the president, which is protected by the House and Committee's regular courtesy rules, but Frost did not back down.
“President Trump and President Grifter say President Trump,” Frost began before another order was called.

Committee members began screaming at each other until Comer once again gave Frost the opportunity to revise his statement.

“President Musk and President Donald Trump, who is engaged in glyfting the American people, often use their public offices to enrich themselves,” Frost said.
Working on allegations against Frost to “pick the President off,” Comer told Frost, “If you request unanimous consent to withdraw any lightly commentary about President Trump, you I think we could easily par Elon Musk if he wanted.”
“I'm going to withdraw the glyfter with the Chief,” Frost said. “President Grift says that he's spent the last two years saying that President Biden is corrupt.”
“I would say Trump is attractive. What I'm retracting is to call him Chief and Grifter,” Frost added.
Comer said Frost was banned from further participation in the hearing, but Connolly disputed the chairman's ruling and called for a vote.

Frost's words should be overthrown and he was not allowed to speak for the rest of the hearing, but he voted “it's silly for this committee to shut me up.”
“Rankings member, I'll have the sergeant remove him if he doesn't stand there,” Comer said.
Rep. Melanie Stansbury, DN.M., and other Democrats cried out more to defend “free speech.”
“We have hearings about waste, fraud and abuse that have not started,” Comer said. “The organization usually lasts five or ten minutes. We're discussing the same thing here in 35 minutes… We have to get to the business. Waste, fraud, abuse. If we wanted to eliminate it, we were waiting for this.
The hearing was closed around the time of about 40 minutes. When it returned, the committee heard from GAO Director General Jean Dodaro about Doge's recommendations.

Frost continues his feud online, saying, “James Kommer can hide behind the arms behind the sergeant and try to remove me, arrest me, silence me…but that's what I meant to say. I'm not going to stop Trump's grift and his burches calling out-”
