Houthi authorities sent a letter to the acting UN humanitarian coordinator in Yemen ordering all US and UK nationals to leave Yemen within 30 days.

On Wednesday, Houthi officials released a document ordering all U.S. and British United Nations officials and employees, as well as staff of humanitarian organizations based in Sanaa, to leave the country within a month.
A letter from the Houthi Foreign Ministry to the acting UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen said: “The Ministry … urges officials and workers with US and British citizenship to prepare to leave the country within 30 days. I would like to emphasize that they must be notified.” Hawkins.
Recent news of this letter follows retaliatory strikes by American and British forces against targets in Yemen.
The letter further calls on the United Nations, which is overseen by the Houthi-controlled Foreign Ministry, to end the employment of dual British and American nationals in Yemini operations, and It repeatedly called for all aid workers of either nationality to cease employment. I will renounce my British citizenship within the next 30 days.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Yemen also took this opportunity to express its gratitude and respect to the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator, according to the letter.
The Pentagon said U.S. and British forces were targeting Houthi underground storage facilities, missiles and surveillance capabilities.
