I once read a great analysis of the birth of modern America that described how veterans returned from World War II and how programs like the GI Bill opened up new paths and opportunities that didn’t exist before.
Many of the American soldiers who returned home were seasoned warriors who had faced the worst of humanity, fought for freedom, and brought back skills that couldn’t be taught in grade school or college.
We learned to see American brands as symbols of what we believe in, but now we’ve been conditioned to “lighten our burdens.”
VA benefits have helped more than 13 million people achieve the American Dream: some went to college, others bought homes, and many developed new skills in engineering, automotive maintenance, and aviation to start businesses, all with a tenacity and determination reminiscent of America’s pioneers.
Years later, some of these men would help build America’s Interstate Highway system, uniting this new generation of American pioneers like never before. “Young men, go west” was replaced by “get your hands dirty,” “work for what you believe in,” “improve your community,” and “fix what’s broken.”
Americans once took pride in preserving our traditions. We prized American brands like John Deere, Tractor Supply, Ford, Chevrolet, Indian and Harley-Davidson, and aggressively protected their heritage. We worked on these products in the fields and in our garages, and built our businesses to continue to serve the American people. These weren’t just commodities; they were our livelihoods. They plowed our fields, fed our families and sent our children to school. They embodied the American spirit and symbolized all that we were willing to fight for and give our lives for.
Children of veterans, how many of you learned about true American muscle cars while leaning against the front end of a 1965 Shelby GT, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro or a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, or learned about the internal combustion engine while your dad was dismantling your 1941 Harley Davidson Knucklehead?
How many of you helped your dad fix up the family’s 1949 Model B John Deere tractor to get through the tilling season? How many trips did you make to Tractor Supply?
No doubt your fingers were covered in blood. You sat in the garage, on the hood, or in the field, sweating 10 gallons, but you did it proudly. You listened to your dad or grandpa patiently tell you, “Here’s the crankshaft. That’s the water pump. That’s the alternator. That’s the fuel pump. Those are the lines that go to the carburetor.” Maybe your grandpa or grandma had you tug on the throttle linkage and let you hear that kid sing.
There was no agenda here other than pure American greatness. American brands built our country. We depended on them, we relied on them. We built our businesses off of them, and we pass that legacy on to our children. It was their birthright, and it created modern America.
Harley’s Awakened Surrender
This is a large part of why today’s corporate “diversity, equity, and inclusion” frenzy is such a huge affront. Woke politics has replaced the purity of the American brands we grew up with. We depended on these products. We earned our income from them and supported our communities with logos proudly displayed in our barns and garages. Those symbols are now being replaced by corporate boardrooms that take their cues from people like BlackRock’s Larry Fink.
Robbie Starbuck Several companies have been exposed recently for this practice, including John Deere, Tractor Supply, and especially Harley-Davidson.
Can you think of a greater humiliation than Harley-Davidson’s awakening capitulation? Harley was one of the brands that helped win World War II. The Harley-Davidson WLA carried American GIs in the fight against the Nazis. The WLA was brought back to the US, and when veterans began dismantling them for civilian use, a new era of motorcycling began. The “chopper” was born.

From the 1940s to today, veterans returning from war have ridden Harleys as a form of therapy to cope with what they saw on the battlefield and as a tribute to experience the openness of American freedom. And that tradition has been taught and passed down from father to son with devotion to Harley-Davidson riders since 1903.
How has Harley-Davidson lived up to its legacy? Here are some of the Starbucks revelations:
- Harley-Davidson has openly supported the Equality Act, which would allow boys to enter girls’ bathrooms, gyms and locker rooms.
- The company funded an all-ages Pride event that featured a “rage room” next to a drag queen storytime.
- Its 1,800 employees were required to take a virtual training course on how to be “LGBTQ+ allies.”
- Woke CEO Jochen Zeitz has signed the CEO Action Pledge for Diversity and Inclusion.
- The company felt that Pride Month alone wasn’t enough, so it designated February and March as “Inclusion Months.”
- The company has hosted several United Way trainings to raise awareness.
- Harley-Davidson sent some employees to a “white, male-only” diversity awareness training program.
- In addition, the company has openly sought to reduce its white suppliers, dealers and employees.
The list goes on.
What Globalists Want…And Fear
The aim of modern cultural Marxism and progressivism is to destroy what was once great by attacking everything that gave it greatness in its beginning. Kamala Harris To open the door to, in Barack Obama’s words, “fundamental transformation of America,” he says.
21st century fascists are destroying beloved brands one by one, and we’re witnessing it happening in real time. Woodrow Wilson once said:“The role of the university is to make young gentlemen as different as possible from their fathers.” We’ve seen that from academia for decades. Overall, universities are losing out.
Teach your kids that getting their hands dirty is a good thing. That what we fight for, that we bleed for, that we sweat for has meaning. It’s part of who we are as Americans.
But that wasn’t enough. Progressives next turned to elementary school kids. But that wasn’t enough. They were now going after the heart of American entrepreneurship and the beloved brands that shaped who we are today. We were raised to love them. We learned to see them as symbols of what we stand for, but now we’ve been conditioned to “lighten our burdens.”
Let’s reintroduce our kids to the roots of what makes American products great. “Made in the USA” isn’t just a slogan. It’s about the tired men and women who toil in factories in small towns across America. It’s about a dad teaching his kids how to change a tire or change the oil. It’s about the triumphant feeling when the family tractor gets going again after many trips to the local parts store.
Teach your kids that getting their hands dirty is good. What we fight for, bleed for, and sweat for has real value. It’s part of who we are as Americans. It benefits families. It supports communities. It spreads beloved American brands across the country and around the world.
That connection extends all the way to the top of corporate boardrooms. That connection is what the globalists fear most. Your passion has the power to crush any coercive incentive they can think of. It’s the same passion that drove American pioneers; the passion that drove soldiers to fight the Nazis and propelled this country into the modern era.
That passion is what causes them to lose in the end.
Lighten the burden on your families. Teach them the history that makes our country great. When corporations try to exploit beloved American brands, teach your kids why those companies are beloved in the first place.
Explain that Harley-Davidson engine sounds are specially designed to have that iconic sound, that there is only one pin on the crankshaft, and that the placement of the cylinders causes the pistons to fire unevenly. It doesn’t sound the same as any other bike. Why? Because Fucking HarleyIt’s part of Harley’s history and that’s why American companies are dear to us. Of course, they sell quality products, but we don’t think they’re story.
Reconnect these great American brands with their great stories. Feel the pride when you get oil, grease and brake dust on your hands and then your kids end up getting it in their faces trying to help you. Passion makes a difference. And it is your passion that scares these tyrants the most.
