Funding Behind Progressive Causes

A significant left-leaning group causing disruption in the country relies heavily on financial support, and unfortunately, this funding comes largely from the taxes paid by American citizens, often without their awareness.

“Congress tends to allocate money without question, often through these organizations, which leads to a massive financial distribution to various government agencies,” stated a co-founder of Blaze Media. He pointed to the U.S. Department of International Development and the State Department as prime examples.

Glenn elaborated, saying, “In 2023 alone, USAID has funneled $4.17 billion to foreign organizations.” He mentioned that these funds often reach “trusted organizations” like the National Endowment for Democracy.

Once the money is involved with these “trusted organizations,” it can flow to foundations connected to figures like George Soros and Open Society.

“Now we see how your tax dollars are used to propagate a progressive agenda globally, regardless of the administration in power. But, we must go further; this is just the beginning,” Glenn emphasized.

So, where should one focus their scrutiny? The CIA, the State Department, and USAID are obvious targets, but stopping there might not be enough, he cautioned.

This brings attention to organizations like the Tides Foundation.

According to Glenn, “The Tides Foundation is funded by U.S. taxpayers.” He described its overall aim as transforming into a dark money machine, representing a kind of legal money laundering. Once money goes into it, tracking it becomes nearly impossible.

“We see left-leaning billionaires and groups deliberately donating to the Tides to obscure their contributions,” he noted, highlighting that the Tides Foundation also interacts with the Tides Center.

He asserted, “They essentially redistribute taxpayer funds among themselves, eventually funneling them into entities linked to Soros.”
