How to watch Copa America 2024 for free: TV, streaming schedule

It’s a great time to be a fan of international football: the Copa America begins just one week after the 2024 UEFA European Championship kicks off.

Teams from 16 countries across North and South America will converge on the United States to play soccer in 14 cities in 10 states over three weeks.

This includes the U.S. Men’s National Team, of course, but also Argentina, the reigning Copa America champions, with Lionel Messi’s team once again being the favorite to win the tournament. Messi, who turns 37 during the tournament, has hinted that this could be his last game in an Argentina uniform, but nothing is set in stone yet.

Here’s all we know: Messi and Argentina open the tournament tonight, June 20, against Canada.

The 2024 Copa America will begin with the group stage on June 20. The final will be played on July 14.

Other ways to watch Copa America 2024 without cable:

While the word “free” is certainly appealing, the most cost-effective way to stream Copa America is to not take advantage of a free trial at all.

Sling TV’s Blue plan includes both FOX and FS1 out of a total of 44 channels, and you can get it now for 50% off your first month – just $22.50 instead of $45, and you’ll only need one month of Sling to watch the entire tournament (and Euro 2024, incidentally).

However, if you want to watch FS2 (which will only broadcast three group stage games), you’ll need to purchase Sling Blue + Sports Extra, which will give you access to 19 other sports channels, including S2, for an extra $11 per month.

Even then, your monthly total will only be $33.50.
