Israeli US Ambassador Addresses Rising Anti-Semitism
During an appearance on Newsmax TV’s “American Agenda,” Mike Huckabee, the Israeli ambassador to the US, voiced his concerns regarding the escalating animosity towards Jewish individuals, particularly in the wake of a couple’s death linked to a suspected left-leaning pro-Palestinian activist in Washington, D.C.
When questioned about ways to counter increasing anti-Semitism, Huckabee highlighted a need for greater understanding and respect among individuals. He stated, “Start to be human. Start to act with a lot of politeness towards each other. Get accurate information. When people say ‘from the river to the sea,’ they show their ignorance.”
He further emphasized the importance of standing up for Jews globally, recalling the historical suffering of the Jewish community, particularly during the Holocaust. “They’ve been persecuted for over two thousand years, and we must prevent it from happening again,” he said. Huckabee urged his Christian peers to be vocal allies, reinforcing that solidarity is essential. “It’s time to say it again, but bigger,” he remarked, insisting that support for Jewish friends should be more pronounced. He stressed that violence against innocent individuals, simply for their faith, must be condemned and punished rigorously. “Their only drawback is that they love God and are Jews. And that is not a sin. And it’s not a crime.”
