An illegal protest by radical leftist groups supporting a ceasefire in Gaza against Israel that took place at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Tuesday was apparently supported by HuffPost reporters and UN staff.
The group, who called themselves “Rabbi,” signed up for the tour and, upon arriving at the UNSC Gallery, staged a protest by unfurling banners and chanting chants. They were allowed to end the demonstration by UN officials, who ushered others out of the room.

Anne Baevsky, a former diplomat and longtime UN critic for Human Rights Voices, said UN staff, including members of Secretary-General António Guterres' office, were also assisting in the protests, and that her spokesperson was working to minimize disruption. It is said that it was kept to a minimum.
Baevsky told Breitbart News.
UN Secretary-General Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric was asked by a Palestinian journalist to comment on the group that “peacefully occupied” the Security Council. In fact, the extremist occupiers were noisy, singing songs, blowing horns, and chanting slogans. Meanwhile, UN security officials not only stood by, but removed onlookers on behalf of the occupiers. Shockingly, an SG spokesperson called the unprecedented mob of over 30 people “a very impressive group.” “I think everything was done with an extremely high level of cooperation and civility,” he says. He told reporters that the 40 people in the Security Council chamber were simply “sitting in the visitors' gallery,” an outright lie about what was happening inside his building. supported his claim. In fact, radicals filmed themselves and livestreamed their abuses in the Capitol, doing the opposite of sitting in. They were inciting the mob and echoing Hamas' own talking points – now we know it, with the secretary-general's blessing.
The protests during the visit to the United Nations Ban: “Visitors are reminded to behave appropriately. [and] This is to reduce noise levels. ”
