‘Human Trafficking Has Gone Up Under President Biden’

Sen. Katie Britt (R-Ala.) said on “Fox News Sunday” this week that “human trafficking has increased” under President Joe Biden.

Britt said, “Look, I said very specifically that this is President Biden’s first 100-day action. Minutes into his inauguration, he stopped all deportations. He stopped construction of the wall. And he said, I’m going to give amnesty to millions of people. It’s going to act as a magnet to draw more people here. Then I said, first. In 100 days, he said there were 94 enforcement actions. And these executive actions didn’t just create the crisis; they invited it.”

She continued: “I compared it to my first 100 days. Shannon, I went to the border three times in my first 100 days in office, and that’s when I wanted the unvarnished truth. I wanted to sit down. I asked the Border Patrol agents. I asked the people there. I asked victims and former victims of drug cartels to tell me what it’s like. What needs to be done. Please tell me what we need to know.”

Britt continued: “The truth, and I know the media is not reporting it, is that human trafficking is on the rise under President Biden.” “If you look back at 2018, it was a $500 million industry of human trafficking by drug cartels. It’s now a $13 billion industry. Shannon, drug cartels are winning in this situation. This is It’s a story of what’s happening right now.”
