Hunter Biden has filed eight separate motions to dismiss the tax cases against him.
They were all rejected.
A federal judge in California on Monday objected to Hunter Biden’s attempt to dismiss tax charges and allowed the criminal case against the president’s son to proceed.
The younger Biden faces three felonies and six misdemeanors related to tax evasion, false returns and failure to pay taxes between 2016 and 2019. His lawyers argued last month that the case was politically motivated and was later tainted by two IRS agents. He became a whistleblower.
He filed eight separate motions to dismiss the charges, each citing different legal grounds, all of which were denied.

U.S. District Judge Mark Scalsi ruled that the case was not political and set aside Biden’s main arguments, noting that Biden’s lawyers had not presented evidence of their claims.
“This motion is notable in that it does not include a single request for declarations, evidence, or judicial notice,” he wrote. “Instead, the defendant cites portions of various internet news sources, social media posts, and legal blogs. However, these citations are not evidence.”
Scalci added that the sources, primarily media reports about the incident, “contain multiple levels of hearsay.”
The Hill report said the judge similarly rejected Biden’s claims of selective and retaliatory prosecution.
