Hunter Biden Contempt Resolution Makes Referral to DOJ for Prosecution 

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer on Monday released a resolution and report recommending that the House hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for failing to respond to a congressional subpoena for a deposition.

If approved, the resolution would immediately refer Hunter Biden to the Justice Department for prosecution.

House investigators announced they would investigate the Biden family in November 2022. It was later revealed that Joe Biden had been receiving money from James Biden and Hunter Biden. They also revealed that nine more members of the Biden family, including two of Joe Biden's grandchildren, received compensation from the family's overseas business operations.
