Hunter Biden Critiques Kamala Harris’ Memoir

In a recent book tour, Hunter Biden, who’s had his fair share of controversies, expressed his feelings about Kamala Harris’ portrayal of his father. He described her comments as “personally painful,” indicating that her depiction of President Biden didn’t sit well with him.

The 55-year-old Hunter, while promoting his own artistic endeavors, acknowledged he hadn’t read the entire memoir. “I didn’t read it. I really didn’t read it. I was really disappointed,” he shared with journalist Tommy Christopher during an extensive interview. He’s made efforts to mentally distance himself from her criticisms, saying he feels it’s hard on a personal level.

Hunter implied that Harris seemed eager to separate herself from his father’s legacy, suggesting that she chose an easier route instead of being genuine. He mentioned, “The biggest complaint about the vice president has always been…that she’s not real.”

Harris, now 61, recently released her memoir, “107 Days,” where she reflects on her brief yet impactful stint as a Democratic presidential candidate.

During the book, she offers a candid look at President Biden, describing his decision to run for re-election as “reckless.” She recounted a surprising phone call from him prior to a significant debate, and expressed confusion over why he was centering their conversation on himself at that crucial moment.

Moreover, she discusses the tension between her team and Biden’s, which was a well-documented issue during her time in the White House. On her book tour, Harris also distanced herself from certain decisions made by the administration, including a notable snub toward Elon Musk at a White House event.

After releasing her memoir, she mentioned that she had talked with President Biden about it, but refrained from divulging his thoughts.

Even with his discontent over Harris’ outspoken views, Hunter defended his father’s choice to appoint her as vice president. “I love what she represented and I love the fact that my dad made the decision,” he asserted. He emphasized the importance of African American women in the Democratic Party, labeling them as its “heart, soul, and conscience.” It was in early 2020, as his campaign began gaining traction, that Joe Biden made a landmark decision to select a female vice president, focusing solely on gender.

Yet, Hunter expressed frustration over what he saw as a pragmatic choice that didn’t account for deeper loyalty in their relationship. “I don’t think I can understand why someone would choose the expedient path,” he reflected.

The media has reached out to a spokesperson for Harris to get her side of the story.
