Hunter Biden is expected to make his first appearance in a federal criminal case stemming from special counsel David Weiss' investigation in California on Thursday.

Mr. Weiss filed the complaint in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
The charges include three felonies and six misdemeanors related to $1.4 million in unpaid taxes that have already been paid.
