Horrific Discovery in France

A French man made a shocking find when he stumbled upon the “decomposed” bodies of five infants hidden in cardboard boxes at his home. This unsettling revelation came after an argument with his wife, who had only given birth to a healthy baby boy the previous day.

The incident occurred in the historic town of Orange on a Monday. The 32-year-old woman, whose identity is legally protected, reportedly clashed with her husband over the contents of a box. Sources indicated that she had begun to complain of abdominal pain during their dispute.

After her husband discovered the bodies, she was taken to the hospital. A source mentioned, “When she was taken to the hospital, her husband remained behind, and when he looked inside the cardboard box where they had been arguing, he discovered five dead babies.” The source further noted that the remains had been present for quite some time.

The bodies were located on the second floor of their home, all packed into sizable plastic bags.

Local media reported that the husband was upset upon learning that his wife had hidden her pregnancy, having allegedly denied it three times previously.

The bag containing the remains was brought to the hospital, which subsequently alerted the police. Investigators revealed that a forensic pathologist confirmed the remains belonged to five infants, and autopsies will follow.

The public prosecutor’s office in Carpentras is managing the investigation, stating that the husband claimed he was unaware of his partner’s possible pregnancy. He has since been released.

Meanwhile, the wife is still hospitalized and has not been questioned by authorities. Child welfare services are now involved, given that the couple has two other children aged 8 and 12.

A preliminary injunction was issued for the newborn, pending further investigation by a juvenile judge.

While the couple had not previously shown any signs of problems, a neighbor described them as “charming people” who had moved into the house two years prior. Others in the neighborhood characterized them as “really normal,” with the wife staying at home while the husband worked.
