ICE Agents Arrest Accused Migrant Rapist After DHS Freed Him into U.S.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have arrested an immigrant who was released into the US through the Parole Pipeline, but who is now accused of raping a young girl.

Corey Alvarez, a 26-year-old immigrant from Haiti, was arrested and charged with rape of a child under the age of 16 in Rockland, Massachusetts, in March.

In June, Alvarez was released on $500 bail after the Plymouth County Superior Court refused to set bail at $25,000 as requested by prosecutors.

This week, Alvarez Arrested He was taken into federal custody by ICE agents.

Police say Alvarez was living in a taxpayer-funded migrant shelter in Massachusetts when he invited a 15-year-old girl into his room. The girl told police Alvarez promised to help her open the app on her tablet, but when she tried to stop him, he raped her.

Alvarez was one of 500,000 beneficiaries of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ Conservative Parole and Negotiations Program, known as the CHNV program, which was shut down by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) after it was found to be rife with fraud.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Immigration Subcommittee Chairman Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) asked The agency has asked the Department of Homeland Security for information about how Alvarez was granted parole and admitted to the U.S. It is unclear whether the department responded to the request.
