ICE apprehends convicted murderer, child offender, and domestic violence perpetrator in Los Angeles.

In a recent operation in Los Angeles, California, a city known for its strong sanctuary policies, agents from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) apprehended what they referred to as some of the most dangerous illegal immigrants.

Governor Gavin Newsom (D) and Mayor Karen Bass (D) of Los Angeles have faced criticism for their opposition to federal immigration enforcement, even as ICE continues to arrest convicted illegal immigrants who have committed serious crimes.

“These despicable individuals, including child abusers and sex offenders, were among those taken into custody in Los Angeles yesterday,” stated Tricia McLaughlin, deputy secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Are Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass more concerned with protecting violent illegal criminals than the safety of their residents? Instead of supporting efforts to manage dangerous offenders, they appear to prioritize rioting over the daily realities that require appreciation for the ICE agents ensuring community safety. On June 8, ICE arrested Eswin Uriel Castro, an illegal alien with convictions for child abuse and weapon charges. Castro also has pending charges for robbery and domestic violence.

Similarly, Rafael Games Sanchez, another illegal alien with a manslaughter conviction, and Anastacio Enrique Solis Salinas, a Nicaraguan illegal alien with a history of domestic violence and hit-and-run offenses, were also taken into custody.

Miguel Angel Palafox-Montes, a Mexican illegal immigrant, has been previously detained twice by ICE. He is a convicted felon with charges related to grand theft, drug offenses, identity theft, battery, and robbery.

ICE agents also apprehended Hakal Aslambekov, a Russian illegal immigrant, who was recently arrested for improperly using an electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card to access taxpayer-funded welfare services.
