ICE Reports ‘Worst of the Worst’ Criminal Illegal Aliens Arrested

As Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deals with the ongoing criticism from Democratic lawmakers, the agency announced yesterday a list of the “worst of the worst” criminal illegal aliens it has detained recently.

Among those arrested was 20-year-old Dennis Popp Kaz, a Guatemalan national found guilty in Stafford, Virginia, of possessing obscene materials, including child pornography, involving minors.

Additionally, Josue Roa Bahena, an illegal alien from Mexico convicted of aggravated assault on a family member in Harris County, Texas, was apprehended. ICE also arrested Sean Lewis and Carlos Alberto Alvarez Cuevas, both foreign nationals found guilty of robbery in New York and California, respectively.

In another case, ICE detained Sergio Salvador Salazar Sorto, a national from El Salvador with convictions for false imprisonment and assault in Los Angeles, California.

Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, commented to FOX News Digital, “Despite a dramatic rise—over 1,300%—in assaults against law enforcement, our officers continue to put their lives on the line to apprehend extremely dangerous illegal aliens.”

She went on to highlight that one of those arrested was a criminal who filmed child abuse, emphasizing gratitude for law enforcement’s efforts in ensuring community safety.

While the Trump administration’s approach includes deploying ICE to sanctuary cities, the agency has encountered significant pushback, particularly from elected officials in Minnesota. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has openly expressed opposition to ICE’s operations in his city.

ICE recently revealed that a rise in arrests includes some of the most dangerous criminals, such as child rapists and over a dozen murderers, who had been living freely despite having outstanding removal orders for years. “We will keep arresting those who commit crimes, no matter the political backdrop,” said ICE Director Todd M. Lyons.
