ICE arrests Palestinian leader of Columbia’s anti-Israel protests: lawyer

His lawyers say the immigration and customs enforcement arrested a Palestinian activist, one of the key figures in inciting the acquisition of anti-Israel students on Columbia University's campus.

ICE agents reportedly told Greer that the agency is enforcing a State Department dict order to cancel Khalil's student visa and his green card in accordance with President Trump's recent pledge to force “asgitators” of foreign students responsible for promoting uncertainty on campus.

The news comes days after Trump announced plans to yank a nearly $400 million contract with federal grants and contracts with Columbia for violating anti-discrimination laws.
