ICE Arrests Radical Pro-Palestinian Activist at Columbia; May Face Deportation

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian activist who graduated from Columbia University and led the radical protests that were a sign of the Trump administration's crackdown on Saturday.

President Donald Trump campaigned on a promise to deport foreign students who are promoting anti-Israel and anti-Semitic protests on campus that exploded under President Joe Biden in the wake of the terrorist attacks by Israeli Hamas on October 7, 2023.

Just 10 days after taking office, Trump signed an executive order on campus to combat anti-Semitism, where foreign students involved in the fundamental protest could be deported.

Last week, Trump repeated that threat to his true social platform, warning that “agitators” would be deported.

On Saturday night, President Trump clearly did his promise well.

New York Post It has been reported:

Mahmoud Halil, Columbia University apartheid dibust leader who completed a graduate study at Ivy League Columbia in December, could also be cancelled after President Trump's crackdown on uncertainty at university, Amy Greer said on Sunday.

He was inside a college-owned apartment several blocks from campus on Saturday night when an ice agent entered the residence and detained him, Greer said.

Despite graduating a few months ago, Khalil, who earned his bachelor's degree in Beirut, was still living in the homes the school provided due to a policy that allowed students to remain on campus after graduation, sources said.

The Trump administration cancelled a roughly $400 million grant to Colombia last week due to a perceived decision to ignore anti-Semitism. Campus activists continue to protest against Israel support violence.
