During President Donald Trump’s initial 100 days in office, ICE agents made notable arrests of immigrants with criminal records, based on documents shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
In the week marking his 100-day milestone, booking photos of undocumented individuals with past convictions or ongoing legal issues were prominently displayed along the North Lawn of the White House. Meanwhile, the ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) conducted extensive arrests across the nation, with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) releasing details and images of five key cases.
“Every day I get reports of our ICE enforcement agents arresting individuals involved in serious crimes like murder, rape, and child abuse,” DHS Chief Christa Noem shared in a social media update highlighting additional arrests. “Under President Trump, we’ve detained over 150,000 undocumented individuals, including more than 600 members of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang. If you’re here illegally and breaking the law, we will find you, arrest you, and see you behind bars.”
In Michigan, ERO officials apprehended 33-year-old Ludwig Ivan Castaneda Gonzalez, a Mexican national. According to DHS, his criminal background includes convictions for sexual conduct offenses involving minors aged 13 to 15 under Michigan law.
