Idaho Mother Charged with Murder of Twin Infants

An Idaho woman, Andrea Shaw, has been charged with the murders of her 18-month-old twins. This development follows her earlier claims that the children died after receiving a vaccine last year. The Payette Police Department announced the charges last week, revealing that Shaw, age 23, faces two counts of first-degree murder and was arrested in Boise on a Tuesday.

Authorities had previously reported that Shaw’s twins were found dead in their shared bed on May 1, 2025. While the official cause of death has not been disclosed, reports suggest that Shaw is accused of suffocating the infants, named Dallas and Tyson.

Shortly after the deaths, Shaw and her husband participated in a podcast organized by Children’s Health Defense, an anti-vaccination group, where they expressed their belief that the twins fell ill and passed away soon after receiving their third vaccination.

Shaw’s attorney, Joe Filicetti, maintains that there is still a connection between the children’s deaths and the vaccinations, although he has not provided evidence for this assertion. He mentioned that Shaw had recently undergone a C-section and given birth to another child prematurely, who is presently in her husband’s care.

Initially, Shaw was detained in Ada County Jail before being transferred to Payette County, where she is currently held on a $2 million bond. During her arraignment in Payette County District Court, the indictment was read, and potential penalties, including the death penalty, were outlined.
