On Friday's broadcast of FNC's “Hannity,” former Trump adviser Peter Navarro said the Biden Justice Department is pursuing him for contempt of Congress for failing to comply with a committee subpoena on January 6. I blamed him for that.
Navarro pointed to the rare nature of this crime and how it contradicts Justice Department policy.
He was sentenced to four months in prison for the crime, but said he would appeal to the Supreme Court, warning that something like this could happen to anyone.
“Sean, if anyone thinks we're not going to put Donald Trump in prison for 700 years, they just need to look back at what they did to me yesterday,” he said. “They're not fooling around. Four months in prison, they even want to put me in jail before I can — I can appeal in this case, and they're Trump They want to put him in jail and get him out of the Oval Office, and they want people like me to stay out of jail.
