Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, said on MSNBC’s “Velshi” on Saturday that if the former president wins the election, “people will start jumping out of windows” or he’ll end up in jail, like Russia did.
“State-sponsored news, like Russia’s Pravda station, ironically stands for truth. All of this goes away under Donald Trump. Why? Because he doesn’t want to hear anything negative said about him. The fact that we have this television show, the fact that we have the ability to speak truth to power, all of that goes away if this man actually becomes president,” Cohen said.
He continued, “Marco Rubio, Mike Johnson, Mark Meadows, all of these people have said something derogatory about Donald Trump at one point. They believe that if Donald Trump wins and they stand shoulder to shoulder with him, they will have unlimited power and of course unlimited resources and assets. The one mistake they are making that Donald Trump is not making is that it’s all about himself, not about his kids, not about his family, it’s all about himself.”
Cohen added: “They think they’re going to jump on his wagon in the hopes that they’ll get promoted through power, money, connections, etc. But that’s not going to happen. He won’t allow it, and just like Putin, once you start overstepping your bounds, people start jumping out the window and they end up in the gulag. As Donald always says, send them to Guantanamo, send them to Guantanamo Bay.”
