A 13-year-old Ecuadorian immigrant stabbed a man in New York City with the help of three masked accomplices after the victim refused to take a photo. The New York Post reportedThis was quoted by police and officials.
Police and sources told the Post that around 9 p.m. Sunday, a young male teenager and his companion approached the 23-year-old victim at West 40th Street and Seventh Avenue and asked him to take a photo. He was asked to take a picture.
“We've seen boys commit five, six, seven robberies.”
When the man refused, the newspaper reported, citing authorities, the 13-year-old boy and three others ganged up on him, punching him in the face and stabbing him in the back and leg with a brass knuckle knife.
The newspaper added that police tried unsuccessfully to take the victim's cell phone, and that authorities and police said the victim refused medical treatment because the stab wounds were superficial.
The suspects fled, but after searching the area with the victim, officers were able to capture the teen, police added.

The 13-year-old male was charged with second-degree robbery, police and sources told the paper.
The newspaper said his last known address was the Roosevelt Hotel, which was converted into an immigrant shelter.

The boy was arrested in connection with a chain-snatching incident on the northbound F train at McDonald Street and Avenue X in Brooklyn on October 26, police officials said.
