Disturbing Incident of Threat in Ohio Captured on Camera

A shocking incident of seemingly random violence was recently recorded in Ohio. Surveillance footage shows a man, reportedly armed with a knife, approaching a homeowner and threatening him “in the name of Allah.”

This alarming event took place early on Easter Sunday morning in Warren County. According to reports, the suspect appeared to be praying in the family’s driveway before repeatedly approaching their home. The father of the household ultimately ventured outside in response to the unsettling situation.

The individual has since been identified as 23-year-old Anthony Long, who was arrested and charged shortly thereafter. Tiffany Miller, the family’s mother, described the frightening experience on social media, labeling it a “very scary and dangerous situation” that could have had dire consequences.

Miller noted that the encounter commenced when Long drove into their driveway with his headlights off. Home surveillance video captured the man kneeling and praying before he attempted to knock on the front door. No one answered, as the family was asleep. He returned moments later and knocked forcefully on the door, prompting concern from the family who were expecting their daughter home at that hour.

When Miller woke up, she initially believed her daughter was locked out. However, to her surprise, it was an unfamiliar man at their door. After Long got back into his vehicle, the family continued to be uneasy. Once their daughter did come home, Miller’s husband confronted the suspect, asking him what he was doing at their door.

Long ominously replied, “In the name of Allah I will kill you.” This response startled the father, who quickly began to back away and called for his daughter to leave the vicinity. Long brandished a knife and attempted to approach the house once more before fleeing in his vehicle as the daughter had already left. Fortunately, no one was harmed in the encounter.

Miller expressed deep gratitude that their family came away unscathed, describing the event as a terrifying ordeal. According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Long was booked into jail around 3:18 a.m. on Sunday and faces multiple charges, including aggravated menacing, trespassing, and criminal damage—misdemeanors of varying seriousness. He remains held on bonds exceeding $75,000, most of which must be paid in cash.
