Tim Kennedy of the Texas National Guard told SiriusXM. Breitbart News Daily Host Mike Slater said President Joe Biden’s “insane” open border policy is an “insult” to the American people.
“The president said this week that we need new legislation to enable border security, and that’s ridiculous,” Kennedy said. “This is insulting and the fact that they’re trying to turn the word around, as they always do, about who’s doing what and the reasons behind it.”

“The laws that currently exist, if enforced, are more than strong enough to protect our borders,” he continued. “and [Biden] “As president, I don’t have that authority,” he said. President Trump does have the authority, and we know he’s making sure the border is secure. ”
“If you look at the numbers between presidential administrations, the differences in illegal immigration over that period are incomparable,” Kennedy said.
The Texas National Guard soldier continued, recalling some of the scenes he personally saw at the U.S. southern border.
And what I saw there was heartbreaking. Of course, the humanitarian crisis is occurring because cartels are exploiting this perceived heat of opportunity. Not just Mexico, but all of the people in Central America and South America, very few immigrants are actually Mexican. The majority come from Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Eastern European countries. There are also many Africans. And once you get to the border, you’re told exactly what to say. They’re being told, “If you do these certain things, you’re going to be given a bus ticket, you’re going to be given $2,000, and you’re going to get a date where you don’t even have to attend a court hearing.” They use fake names. I think this is the most insulting form of illegal immigration that any country has ever seen.
“We saw cartel members pushing babies into the water, causing a crisis, and trying to smuggle bundles of drugs to people further up the river, across the river,” he added.
“I saw them tripping over a father with his children on his shoulders, miles away. If we didn’t put in a ton of resources to find this kid floating down the river. While we didn’t, we now have several boats crossing as best they can, “assume only hardened terrorists on the watch list,” President Kennedy said.
“Everything is strategic. It’s all planned,” Kennedy asserted. “This is a kind of war being waged against us.”
