Inside Trump's memorable McDonald's trip ahead of election win

Trump’s Unique Campaign Stop at McDonald’s

Fox Nation is gearing up to showcase a significant moment from Donald Trump’s campaign—a special visit to McDonald’s during the final stretch of his 2024 run. This will be part of a multi-episode series titled “The Art of Surge.”

The event kicks off in a McDonald’s drive-thru, where Trump interacted with staff and donned an apron while working a shift in Fieserville, Pennsylvania, back in October. “I’ve always wanted to work at McDonald’s, but never had the chance,” he shared with the employees there.

The series begins with Trump’s first day at the fast-food restaurant. It captures him preparing fries, shaking the basket, and carefully pouring the crispy potatoes into the iconic red cartons. It turned into a memorable scene, illustrating a relatable role that many Americans have experienced.

He also greeted customers, leaning out of the drive-thru window. One family received their meals directly from him, prompting a smile as he wished them a good meal.

As the election loomed—just two weeks before a high-stakes debate with Kamala Harris—customers cheered him on. One driver shouted, “Make America great again!” while another exchanged a handshake, saying, “45-47, you got this, sensei.”

Trump took moments to acknowledge enthusiastic supporters nearby, waving to fans who were clamoring for his attention. Speaking to a reporter, he noted that his upbeat demeanor was fueled by the crowd’s desire for positivity.

Inside the restaurant, he paused to reflect, grinning as he realized how enjoyable the experience was. “I could do this all day. This job doesn’t mean much to me,” he remarked.

Many viewed Trump’s playful stint as a lighthearted jab at Harris, suggesting he had put in more time working at McDonald’s than she had during her college years. “I’ve been working for about 15 minutes—more than Kamala,” he joked.

After the day’s events, Margo Martin, his assistant communications director, expressed her delight. “It was epic,” she said, summarizing the memorable day. “McDonald’s Drive-Thru – The Iconic Donald Trump.” Ultimately, Trump triumphed over Harris in the 2024 election, claiming victory in all the crucial swing states, including Pennsylvania.
