Madonna faced immediate backlash Tuesday after sharing an anti-Trump message on X.
Social media users savagely attacked the famous singer after she shared a post aligning with the LGBTQ+ community that simultaneously took aim at the Trump administration.
“It’s so sad to watch our new Government slowly dismantling all the Freedoms we have been fighting for and WON over the years. (LGBT flag emoji) (broken heart emoji),” Madonna wrote, before adding, “Don’t give up the Fight!”
People decided to fight against her instead. A number of internet users tore a strip out of the legendary singer for taking an anti-Trump stance with her 2.8 million followers.

“He is restoring common sense to people. You should take a dose of it too. Will suit you well,” one person wrote, in Trump’s defense.
Another pro-Trump internet user slammed the singer by writing, “what freedoms exactly?”
Oh shut the fuck up you weird old lady. Go back to deep throating bottles or something you actually know about instead of getting involved with politics when you’ll never understand the life of real Americans on the breadline for the last few years.

User “Ginger Jones” turned up the heat on Madonna by giving her a verbal lashing.
“Oh shut the fuck up you weird old lady,” Jones said.
“Go back to deep throating bottles or something you actually know about instead of getting involved with politics when you’ll never understand the life of real Americans on the breadline for the last few years,” she wrote.

Other comments included, “Your freedom to commit heinous crimes against children???,” as well as, “Nobody cares what you think. You are a singer so sing and shut the fuck up.” And one person wrote, “Where were you during the election campaign? Silence. Now you’re complaining?”
