Iowa School Shooter: 17-Year-Old With Shotgun, Handgun

The gunman who opened fire at Perry High School in Iowa on Thursday morning has been identified as a 17-year-old armed with a shotgun and a handgun.

The Associated Press reported that the 17-year-old gunman died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

“The shooter posted on social media several times during and around the shooting,” Mitch Moltved, deputy chief of the Iowa Bureau of Criminal Investigation, told CNN. I got it..

Breitbart News reported that Dallas County Sheriff Adam Infante said the shooting occurred before school started, before many teachers and students had yet arrived.

Details about the 17-year-old gunman have not yet been released. There is no word on how the gunman accessed or obtained the shotgun and handgun.
