A Florida Dunkin Donuts employee suffered burns after an angry customer threw hot coffee in his face, police said.
The incident occurred around 8:45 a.m. Sunday morning at the Dunkin Donuts on Route 19 and was reported to the New Port Richey Police Department.
When officers arrived, they learned the man had been given an extra cup of coffee for free by a Dunkin Donuts employee.
Police said the man became agitated, but did not provide further information. He then threw hot coffee in the employee’s face, causing blisters on his skin.

Police are currently searching for the suspect and have released a series of images on social media.
The suspect appears to be driving a silver four-door SUV. He has short black hair, a beard, and a mustache, and has a soul patch under his lip.
