Is Bobbi Althoff a Mormon? Everything You Need to Know About ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County’ Cast

Exciting News About The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County

Attention, everyone! A new spinoff titled The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County is on its way to Hulu, and it’s generating quite a buzz.

Set to feature a mix of YouTubers, podcasters, and influencers, this series will finally make its debut later this year. It was recently announced at Hulu’s Get Real event that the cast will include Bobby Althoff, Madison Bontempo, Aspin Ovard, Avery Woods, Salome Andrea, Chandler Higginson, Ashley Pease, and McCall Dapron (who is Macy Neely’s sister). Interestingly, although the show involves the term “Mormon,” not all of these women are practicing members of the faith; they are mostly young mothers.

So, who among this cast is actually a practicing Mormon? And who isn’t? Let’s dive into what we know.

Is Bobby Althoff a Mormon?

Nope, Bobby Althoff does not identify as a Mormon or a member of the LDS Church. She’s well-known for her viral TikTok videos and for hosting the Really Good Podcast. In a previous episode with Rainn Wilson, she discussed her upbringing, which isn’t linked to Mormonism. Bobby married Corey Althoff in 2020 and had two kids, but they went through a divorce in 2024. Currently, she’s dating basketball player Tyler Hawkins.

Which Cast Members Are Actual Mormons?

Unlike the original series, this cast boasts several women with no prior ties to the Mormon Church. So, who’s who in terms of faith?

Aspin Ovard (not Mormon)— Aspin isn’t a Mormon, but she grew up near a strong Mormon community in Utah. She’s been spotted at events for the show. In a 2025 episode of the Girls Camp podcast, she revealed her father was raised Mormon but noted her own distance from those beliefs.

Madison Bontempo (Mormon)— Madison comes from a Mormon background and has five kids with her husband, Kyler Fisher. In an Instagram comment, she confirmed she was born and raised in the faith.

Salome Andrea (Mormon)— Salome shared insights about her upbringing in a 2023 episode of Avery Woods’ podcast. She mentioned, “I’m a Mormon, but not a Utah Mormon.” Despite stepping away from some traditional practices, she maintains a unique connection to her faith and occasionally takes her daughters to church.

Avery Woods (not Mormon)— In a chat on the Cheers! podcast, Avery described herself as “the opposite of Mormon.” Nevertheless, she seems to fit the show’s criteria with her TikTok following, successful podcast, and early marriage at 21.

McCall Dapron (Mormon)— McCall is very much part of the Mormon community. Her Instagram identifies her as “LDS.” Growing up in Orange County, California, she has four children with her husband.

Ashley Pease (unknown)— Originally from Australia, Ashley hasn’t shared much about her religious background since her son was baptized in November 2023.

Chandler Higginson (Mormon)— While she hasn’t openly discussed her faith, several clues suggest she and her husband adhere to Mormonism. They graduated from Brigham Young University, a private institution founded by the Church, and she has shared moments related to Mormon traditions on social media.
