Israel Strikes Iranian Ballistic Missiles
Israel has shared video footage of its Air Force targeting Iranian ballistic missiles, asserting that these missiles are aimed at establishing a Jewish state. Prior to the operations under the name Operation Raisinglion, Israeli officials mentioned that Mossad had set up a drone base inside Iran. As the strikes commenced, drones were launched towards missile launchers, with authorities noting that this posed a danger to Israeli civilians.
In a recent post on X, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) indicated that Iranian ballistic missiles represent a direct threat to Israel. Military sources stated that steps were being taken to counter what they deemed an “immediate concrete threat” to the safety of citizens.
During the onset of Operation Raisinglion, a significant strike against Iran was initiated with the intent of halting Tehran’s nuclear weapons progression. Reports say that the equivalent of the Israeli CIA, Mossad, had been executing covert operations in Iran leading up to the first assault. Senior security officials revealed that a Mossad unit deployed a precision-guided weapon system near Iran’s surface-to-air missile installations. When Israel’s attack kicked off, this system was activated to target enemy positions.
Officials disclosed that an additional operation focused on disabling Iran’s air defense systems, which pose a threat to Israeli fighter jets. Mossad had successfully created a method to “completely destroy” these targeted defense systems. They also established a drone base in Iran to launch assaults on missile launchers viewed as a danger to civilians in Israel.
Israel has also claimed responsibility for actions against high-ranking figures within Iran’s military, including the air force commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian military chief of staff. They stated that they took aim at the country’s most significant uranium enrichment facility.
