of report It was compiled based on medical evidence and testimony gathered after a year of treating freed or rescued hostages. The report will be submitted to Alice Edwards, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment and punishment.
The report reads in part:
Women, men, and children returning from confinement reported enduring severe physical and sexual abuse, including beatings, isolation, deprivation of food and water, stigmatization, hair pulling, and sexual assault. In addition, some of them reported that their captors sexually assaulted them or forced them to remove their clothing.

Upon arrival in Israel, the returned hostages were given intensive medical treatment.
The prisoners also tortured the wounded by performing painful procedures without anesthesia.…
Approximately half of the returned hostages testified that they were intentionally starved during their captivity. They were fed a poor diet, which often caused hunger, which worsened over time.

Captured hostages are subjected to solitary confinement, poor sanitary conditions, severe medical neglect, sleep deprivation, starvation, sexual abuse, violence, intimidation, and brainwashing by the media to break their minds and make them obedient. There were many.

Two of the children who were detained with them during their confinement reported being restrained and beaten throughout their confinement. Restraints, scars, and marks consistent with trauma were found.
Additionally, two children had burn marks on their lower legs. One child stated that the burns were the result of being intentionally burned with a heated object. Both children and adults who were with him during his confinement described the incident as not an accident, but a purposeful branding event. It is said to have been a very traumatic experience.
era of israel reported On Sunday, a Hebrew version of the report was announced to include evidence that the terrorists forced the two teenage hostages to “perform sexual acts with each other.”
President Isaac Herzog responded to the report as follows: “The United Nations knows the facts and has a moral obligation to do everything in its power to bring the hostages home now.”
There are still 100 hostages in Gaza, including seven Americans, of whom up to two-thirds are believed to be still alive.
