Freed Israeli Hostage Shares Harrowing Experience

Recently released Israeli hostage, Guy Dalal Gilboa, has spoken about the traumatic experiences he endured at the hands of Hamas terrorists. He revealed that one of his captors, after mocking him, sexually abused him while threatening to kill him if he ever mentioned the incident.

Dalal Gilboa, 23, recounted his two years in captivity during an interview with Israel’s Channel 12. He described an encounter where a sadistic captor blindfolded him and taunted, “You haven’t seen a girl in a while, right? Want to watch some porn? How about we make a porn movie together?”

“He started touching me all over my body. At that moment, I froze. It was terrifying,” he recalled. When he expressed fear of the terrorists, he was threatened with death if he disclosed any details about what he had endured.

“He put a gun to my head and a knife to my throat and told me if I told anyone he would kill me,” Dalal Gilboa stated, highlighting the intense fear he lived with.

“Not only did I experience that, but I had to keep it to myself,” he said, emphasizing the emotional weight of his silence.

Dalal Gilboa detailed another incident where one captor abused him during a shower. “He forced me into the room and wouldn’t let me get dressed,” he explained, recalling that the captor undressed himself too.

The victim of this abuse invoked religious reasoning, saying, “I told him, ‘You’re a Muslim; you shouldn’t be doing this.’” Feeling lost, he worried that the abuse would escalate further.

His shocking testimony arrives not long after fellow hostage Rom Braslavsky shared similar accounts of severe mistreatment, including physical abuse and starvation.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog condemned the horrific actions that Dalal Gilboa described, commending the young man’s bravery in recounting his experience. He stated, “The world needs to hear this testimony and recognize the horrific sexual violence committed by Hamas.” Herzog encouraged others to understand the ongoing violence since October 7, emphasizing the need to shed light on these troubling realities.
