Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a televised speech that he supports recognition and intends to bring the cease-fire agreement to a full cabinet meeting in Jerusalem.
According to Israeli officials, CNNlater the Israeli Security Council approved an agreement to end the conflict with Hezbollah. The proposal aims to halt fighting with Hezbollah for 60 days and could form the basis for a long-term ceasefire.
Prime Minister Netanyahu added that the agreement was reached after Israel succeeded in dismantling Hezbollah's infrastructure, leadership, ranks and secret bunkers along the border.
Under the agreement, hundreds of thousands of displaced people in Israel and Lebanon will be able to return to their homes after more than a year of daily missile attacks under the supervision of a five-nation monitoring council led by the United States. It becomes like this.
As part of the ceasefire agreement, Israel maintains a military presence near the border and is also guaranteed to counter any future Hezbollah attacks.
To stop Hezbollah's daily attacks on Israel, the agreement calls on the Lebanese army to take the initiative to clear the terrorist group's borders as it advances north of the Litani River.
