Hunter Biden’s Future in Politics: A Mixed Bag of Opinions

When asked about the possibility of Hunter Biden running for the White House in 2028, Democratic strategist James Kerrville avoided giving a direct answer.

This comes on the heels of a recent three-hour interview where Hunter Biden criticized some members of the Democratic Party for not backing his father in the 2024 election. In a particularly heated moment, Biden confronted Kerrville, making it clear that emotions were running high.

On his show, “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Watters noted, “I won’t attack what Hunter said about me. He’s clearly emotional and hurting because of his dad. I totally get that.”

Hunter believes the Democrats’ lack of loyalty to his father contributed to their struggles in recent elections.

Kerrville also brushed aside any speculation that Hunter could actually be a contender for the presidency, even in light of comments from Joe Rogan, who said, “He could become president. What do you think? He was never a bull.”

Logan praised Hunter, suggesting he’s “a lot smarter than people give him credit for,” and spoke about the former president’s son overcoming serious challenges like addiction.

Kerrville expressed concerns about Donald Trump potentially undermining the 2026 midterm elections, saying, “Hunter Biden has been through a lot, but when it comes to intelligence, he’s perhaps smarter than his father was at his age.”

During an exchange with Jesse Watters, Kerrville discussed what the Democratic Party really needs in terms of a nominee as they head into the election cycle.

He emphasized that he doesn’t care about gender but believes the party needs someone who can communicate effectively and clearly.

Reflecting on the last election, Kerrville mentioned that he thinks voters were seeking change in 2024, but noted that Kamala Harris did not seem willing to suggest a shift away from Biden, which he found puzzling.
