James Carville Shares Unusual 'Personal Message' for Trump

Carville’s Message to Trump: A Fiery Critique

Democratic strategist James Carville delivered a notably intense message to President Donald Trump in a recent video posted on Politicon’s YouTube channel. This video, which emerged just before Trump’s State of the Union address, was framed by Carville as a personal communication.

In his fiery remarks, Carville suggested that Trump’s close associates were not only disrespecting him but also betraying him. He said, “I have a personal message for Donald John Trump. And while I say this, you sit still, you motherfucker. I’ll tell you exactly where you are, you fat, sorry son of a bitch,” adding that people generally dislike Trump and that the discontent was deeper than mere personal animosity.

Much of Carville’s critique centered on the notion that those within Trump’s inner circle were dishonest. He singled out Army Secretary Pete Hegseth, accusing him of leaking damaging comments from General Dan Cain, head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, which the president later denied in a post on Truth Social.

Carville expressed disbelief that Trump’s team would behave in such a disloyal manner, asserting, “Why would they do that? Because they hate you! And they’re going to leak,” suggesting that Trump’s staff would readily talk to the media.

Calling out White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles specifically, Carville stated that her actions were disrespectful to Trump. He commented further, saying, “They’re all leaking like crazy… They don’t care about you,” amplifying his message about the lack of loyalty within Trump’s administration.

He went on to paint a bleak picture of Trump’s popularity, bluntly telling him, “You’re the most unpopular president we’ve ever had at this point in your term. They hate you.” He even jabbed at Trump’s appearance and demeanor, pointing out that people find various aspects of him off-putting.

As of a recent polling snapshot, Trump’s approval rating sat at 42.5%, according to RealClearPolling. Carville projected that the upcoming 2026 midterm elections would be a significant setback for Trump, saying, “You know how miserable you’re going to be in November. You know how miserable you’re going to be when tens of millions of Americans get a chance to tell you exactly what they think of you.”

He anticipated public backlash against Trump as inevitable and described it in rather vivid terms, hinting that the response will be both powerful and unsparing. Carville concluded with a pointed reflection on the public humiliation he believes Trump will face, asserting that it’s simply coming, and it won’t be pleasant.

In previous comments, Carville has expressed that the idea of Trump experiencing misery brings him peace, indicating a deeply personal level of disdain towards the former president.
