“I want to be clear about this: Whenever a person creates an account, whether it's on purpose or out of their mind, we always get the core of the story right. They can keep repeating it over and over again.'' Again, this is what happened, the crux of it. But when something is not real, when something is not happening, you end up getting the details wrong. It’s really not there,” Spiro said, according to hollywood reporter.

Spiro said his client, whose real name is Shawn Carter, is “upset” by the situation.

”[This was] It's impossible. Because this never happened. ”
When asked about Jay-Z's relationship with Combs, Spiro said, “Mr. Carter has nothing to do with Mr. Combs' case or anything with Mr. Combs. They have known each other professionally for years. Just like a profession.” We know each other from music awards, we go to the NBA All-Star Game, we support each other. There is no close relationship between any profession. That's what fiction is all about. He has nothing to do with the incident and has nothing more to say. ”
