Jaylen Brown suggested earlier this month that he was cut from the U.S. national team for criticizing Nike. Celtics The star decided to catch a few summer league games in Las Vegas. WNBA players Angele Reese and Kisle Gondrezick;
More importantly, he was watching Summer League and badmouthing Bronny James.
brown“I don’t think Bronny is a professional.”
Gondrezick: “I think he’ll definitely be on the G League team.”
brown: “I don’t think so. His name is what makes him Lakers“
Brown isn’t wrong at all. Bronny was definitely chosen first because of his last name, and most importantly because LeBron wanted it. He also signed a four-year contract before the Lakers even saw him. We also have to admit that Bronny was terrible. On Monday night, he was just 3-of-14 from the field and 0-of-8 on 3-pointers.
So if you say Brony is unprofessional, fine, I agree. What’s funny is that as soon as he realized the video was going viral, he tried to take control of the situation.
“Playing alongside my son in the NBA is an honor and a reflection of greatness and longevity. Bronny has all the tools to be successful and I look forward to watching him grow.” https://t.co/qO4muFSvrn

At 2:47 a.m. local time, Brown posted a tweet saying that having his son in the league was a “brag” for LeBron, adding that he “has all the tools to be successful,” but did not elaborate on what he meant by that or how it related to his comments a few hours earlier that he was not a professional.
But it’s understandable: offending a king has historically been a dangerous thing to do.
