JD Vance Criticizes Corporate Media For Ignoring 'Scumbag Pedophile' Epstein Until Now

Vice President Criticizes Media’s Focus on Epstein Case

Vice President JD Vance openly criticized corporate media on Monday, asserting that they largely ignored the Jeffrey Epstein case until Donald Trump took office. During a speech in Canton, Ohio, Vance claimed that for nearly two decades, journalists showed little interest in the Epstein incident and primarily focused on how lawsuits were managed during the Trump administration. He promised that his administration would not mimic the approaches of previous presidents like George W. Bush, Barack Obama, or Joe Biden.

“It’s interesting to note how the American media has overlooked this case,” Vance remarked. He pointed out that neither Biden’s Justice Department nor the media paid much attention to Epstein’s files, suggesting that the focus on transparency is unfairly aimed at Trump while ignoring the past administrations’ actions.

Vance emphasized, “If you truly want to hold people accountable for a lack of transparency, you need to examine the administration that concealed these issues for twenty years.” He added that it was worth noting the administrations that failed to ensure full transparency were not being scrutinized.

According to the DOJ and the FBI, an investigation concluded on July 6 that there was no evidence suggesting foreign involvement in Epstein’s death or ownership of the so-called “client list”. On July 17, Trump directed Attorney General Pam Bondy to release all related court testimonies concerning Epstein, pending court approval.

Previously, Bondi suggested during a February interview that she had a “client list” but later clarified that various documents related to ongoing investigations were discussed by the DOJ and White House.

The White House has pushed back against claims linking Trump to individuals named in Epstein’s case. Trump remarked at a joint press conference that if there were any incriminating evidence, the Biden administration would have disclosed it to enhance Democratic prospects in the upcoming 2024 election.

“If they had anything, they would have released it. They’ve had access to the files, and if anything was there, they would’ve used it,” he stated.

A Wall Street Journal article on July 17 recounted how Trump, in a letter marking Epstein’s 50th birthday in 2003, made a bizarre suggestion linking Epstein with a painting of a nude woman.

Epstein was first arrested in 2006, facing felony solicitation charges. He entered a controversial plea deal in 2008 that led to just 13 months in a work release program after pleading guilty to state charges.

In 2019, federal prosecutors filed new charges against him, but Epstein was found dead in his cell on August 10 of that year. Dr. Michael Baden, a forensic pathologist, stated that an autopsy indicated Epstein’s death was more consistent with homicide than suicide.
