J.D. Vance has been in the news since former President Donald Trump picked him as his running mate, and in the process, completely destroyed not only the left’s image of him, but also the left’s image of Trump.
“He’s resisting the left’s view that he’s a weirdo,” explains Pat Gray of Pat Gray Unleashed.
“People who call me weird want to put a 9-year-old on hormone therapy and sterilize him,” Vance said on the Full Send podcast. “That’s a lot weirder than me living a normal life with my kids and my wife.”
“But I think what they’re doing is sticking to a message and trying to sell it even if it’s fake,” he continued.
He then continued to defend the former president.
“Trump’s political superpower is that he just doesn’t care, right? He doesn’t care what other people say about him. He just be himself, he tells jokes, he says things that will infuriate some people,” he said, noting that if you actually listen to what he says, it always makes sense.
Keith Marinak, like Trump, is under the impression that everything Vance said on the podcast made a lot of sense.
“To JD Vance’s point, you are the party that wants to change the gender of children. Who’s weird?” Marinak commented.
Later, J.D. Vance continued to impress when a CNN reporter pressed him to condemn Kamala Harris’ comments about race, even though he is himself the father of three biracial children.
“All he said is that Kamala Harris is a chameleon. She was in Georgia two days ago, she grew up in Canada, she has a fake Southern accent. She’s everything and everyone and she pretends to be someone else depending on who’s in front of her,” Vance dryly retorted.
“I think it’s entirely reasonable for the president to point that out and that’s all he did,” he added.
