Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, said 2024 presidential candidate Nikki Haley likely won't be able to withstand Democratic attacks if she becomes the party's nominee. He claimed that he is a candidate who is not paying attention.

“Nicki does have baggage. She just hasn't faced the years of media attacks and super PAC onslaught that Donald Trump faced. And frankly, I don't think Trump is still going strong. “And the fact that he maintains a lead over Joe Biden in the polls suggests that he has real political resilience,” Vance told Fox News on “Fox News Sunday.” told Shannon Bream.

Ahead of Tuesday's Granite State primary, Bream aired a video asking New Hampshire voters who they would support, with one woman explaining that she would vote for Haley because she “has no baggage.” Vance, who is representing the Trump campaign, countered that Haley has her own “baggage,” but Democrats have not attacked her in the same way as Trump in recent years.

“I know that a lot of people who are choosing Nikki Haley think she's a candidate with little baggage. In fact, she's a candidate that the Democratic Party hasn't yet nominated, but if she's a candidate Democrats will nominate her if she's the right person,” Vance said. He added that Haley “wouldn't” be her candidate.

Trump maintains significant lead in New Hampshire with first primary just days away: poll

“But if she is, [the nominee], she's going to face the exact same thing that Donald Trump has been facing for the last six years, and I don't think she'll survive, and I certainly think she'll win the presidency through it. I don't think so. That's why we need to elect people who have shown some degree of resilience. That's why we need to nominate Donald Trump.”

Last week, Trump won the Iowa caucuses, the first in the nation, and solidified his position as the top Republican candidate in 2024. He is currently focused on Tuesday's New Hampshire primary.

According to a Suffolk University, Boston Globe and NBC10 poll, Trump has an approval rating of 55% among likely voters in the primary, compared to 36% for Haley and DeSantis. The approval rating was 6%.

Bream cited a Suffolk poll and a CNN poll that found Trump's approval rating at 50% to Haley's 39%, noting that many voters in New Hampshire are undeclared but Republican primary voters. He pointed out to Vance that he was voting in the election.

President Trump says Nikki Haley has 'no chance' ahead of New Hampshire primary: 'Maga isn't going to be with her'

“There are several newspaper editorials today supporting Nikki Haley, telling independents to get out and 'save the country and vote in the Republican primary.' So there are quite a few here. How worried are you that people are gathering and they're not going to elect President Trump on Tuesday?'' Bream asked.

Vance said the liberal, who recently moved to New Hampshire from Massachusetts, would “never” vote for a Republican candidate, whether Trump or Haley, and would rather “ruin Donald Trump and his primary.” I'm trying to do that.''

“I think a lot of them are going to vote for Donald Trump, and I think they're going to vote for liberals as well…I think a lot of them moving from Massachusetts to New Hampshire are going to vote for Republican candidates, even if it's Nikki Haley. I would never vote for someone like that,” Vance said. He said.

“They're just trying to make fun of Donald Trump. But I think Republicans really need to ask themselves, do we want liberal suburbanites in Massachusetts to choose our candidates? Or do we want Republicans and Do we want to choose a candidate as independent-minded conservatives?'If we choose a candidate, Donald Trump would win, and I think he would win easily,” Vance added.
