Speculation Surrounding Trump’s Health Pondered by Jen Psaki

During a recent segment, Jen Psaki, the MSNBC host and former Biden spokesperson, voiced her concerns about the online chatter regarding Donald Trump’s health. She expressed frustration over the ambiguity surrounding his recent absence, questioning, “Why has he been ‘hidden’ for a week? We really don’t know.”

Psaki remarked, “You really can’t make something like this up.” She described Trump’s explanations as somewhat incoherent, and while he asserted he was “very active” over Labor Day weekend, she speculated on possible reasons for his low visibility. “Sure, you might wonder why he’s been avoiding the public eye, but there’s no need to conjure up wild theories to explain it,” she added.

Despite Trump’s claims of activity, Psaki suggested he may be dodging public scrutiny due to various factors. She pointed out a survey indicating a growing pessimism among Americans about their living standards, noting that only 25% believe their situation will improve. “Perhaps this reflects a wider trend,” she said.

She also hinted at the possibility that Trump’s reluctance to appear publicly could be linked to his controversial ties with Jeffrey Epstein, stating, “That could certainly be a reason.”

In light of her comments, several conservative commentators accused Psaki of hypocrisy, pointing out her previous downplaying of Biden’s age and mental fitness. One user remarked sarcastically, “It’s called the best hypocrisy.” Another chimed in, expressing disbelief at her current stance, claiming it was “incredible.”

Amidst the criticism, Psaki had previously claimed in a podcast that she hadn’t observed any decline in Biden during her time in the White House, saying, “I was in the Oval Office every day, and that was not part of the discussion.” She acknowledged that while she isn’t a medical professional, aging can happen quickly.

Joining MSNBC in 2022, Psaki had sought to calm concerns surrounding Biden’s fitness for office, emphasizing that “There are no perfect candidates.” She asserted that if Trump were to return to power, there could be alarming consequences, including drastic measures against perceived enemies.
