This is the most destructive fire in Los Angeles County history and continues to rage. The fire's containment rate is 0%. 0%.
Winds can reach up to 160 miles per hour. Breathe more and more life into hell. And more than 1,400 firefighters are on the front lines battling the blaze. And they aren't sleeping. Someone says, “I'm living proof that you can stay awake for 96 hours.” However, they are poorly manned and poorly equipped.

The chief says there aren't enough firefighters. Just a few months ago, L.A. Mayor Karen Bass cut funding from the fire department by about $20 million. And before that, the Los Angeles Fire Department sent additional equipment to Ukraine. They could probably still use some of that equipment. And this is even worse. The fire hydrant is dry.
Why isn't water coming out of the fire hydrant? In Los Angeles We've had two years of record rainfall, the last time we've had this much rain each year since the 1800s. Well, what do you think?
All rain flows into the ocean. Ten years ago, California voted to spend billions of dollars on water storage and reservoirs. To date, Governor Newsom has yet to finish construction on any of them.
